Hours: Monday-Thursday 10:30AM-3:30PM.Templeton Council on Aging coordinates & operates senior-oriented social and educational programs and training, and provides many services which include information, referrals, and advocacy to many outside resources.

Our Friends group is selling raffle tickets for loads of patriotic items as well as some gift cards to local businesses. The tickets are 2 for $3. A Friends group member is available to sell tickets at the senior center Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm. The drawings will happen at the conclusion of the 250th July 4th celebration on the town common!

The Templeton Coalition on Aging is in need of 2 new members to replace some folks that are leaving.
The COA is an advisory board to the Senior Services Department and meets every other month. Members serve three year terms and are appointed by the Templeton Select Board.
If you’d like to join, applications can be found with our receptionist, on the town’s website or inquire with the Select Board’s office.

A reading of the Declaration of Independence, Colonial Re-enactors, music by Ryan Hood, an ice cream social (courtesy of the First Church of Templeton), bicycle and doll carriage decorating followed by a parade, and raffles! Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a classic 4th of July celebration! The fun begins at noon!
