Pre-register and stop by the Templeton Senior Community Center in Baldwinville Monday, Nov. 2, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a free jar of candy, in celebration of National Candy Day! No need to leave your car, since this will be a grab-N-go. Pre-registration is required. Call Kaley at 978.894.2784.

The Templeton Senior Community Center is offering a free grab-N-go Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings Wednesday, Nov. 25, graciously prepared by Tom Royer of Kamaloht. Pre-registration is required by calling Kaley at 978.894.2784 by noon Wednesday, Nov. 18. Residents of Templeton and Phillipston 60 and over who have pre-registered may swing by the Senior Center Wednesday, Nov. 25, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick up their meal and take it home to eat. Delivery is available if necessary. The number of meals is limited. The dinner is free but donations are welcome to defray the cost. For more information, please call Kaley at 978.894.2784.

Storyteller Davis Bates of Shelburne Falls delighted seniors and baby boomers from the Templeton area at a program, a Harvest of Stories and Songs, today at the Templeton Senior Community Center, Baldwinville. Cider and apple cider doughnuts donated by Red Apple Farm, Phillipston, set the stage for a delightful hour. The weather was perfect, although some of us bundled up since we were outside, wearing masks and social distancing. This program was supported in part by a grant from the Templeton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Thank you!

About 30 people, including seniors, town officials and town dispatchers, took advantage of the drive-through flu clinic yesterday (Thursday, Oct. 8) at the Templeton Senior Community Center in Baldwinville. The flu shots were administered by pharmacists from CVS in Athol.
