I don’t think I could say it better……
There are nights when I look back over my life and wonder how I'm still here.
As a child, I endured things no child should ever have to endure. There were moments when pain could have made me bitter, anger could have consumed me, and hatred could have become my identity.
But God had a different plan.
He didn't allow my wounds to become my purpose. He transformed them into compassion.
He didn't let my past define me. He used it to prepare me.
Every hardship taught me what it feels like to be overlooked. Every battle taught me to stand beside those who don't have a voice. Every setback reminded me that people don't need more judgment—they need more hope.
I don't claim to be perfect. I still have bad days. I still carry scars. But I've learned that scars can become reminders of God's faithfulness instead of symbols of defeat.
If I fight for people, it's because I know what it feels like to need someone to fight for me.
If I speak up against injustice, it's because I've seen what happens when good people stay silent.
If I love my community, it's because I truly believe every life has value and every person deserves dignity.
I believe God doesn't waste pain.
Sometimes He allows us to walk through the fire so that one day we can walk back into it—not to burn again, but to lead someone else out.
As long as He gives me breath, I'll keep serving, keep loving, keep standing for what's right, and keep believing that light will always overcome darkness.
