The WIC department is having thier annual Breast-Feeding Celebration Thursday, August 2nd from 1pm-4pm. Any mothers that are currently breast-feeding or pregnant are invited to join us. We will have drawings for door prizes and our Lactation Consultant will be avaialable to answer any questions you may have.

Did you know that we offer vaccines to adults, who have no insurance? We offer: TDAP, MMR, VARICELLA (chicken pox), HEP B, HEP A, HPV 9, PNEUMOCOCCAL, PCV 13 (a pneumonia vaccine), and VARICELLA ZOSTER (Shingles). We ask an administrative fee of $20.00 per visit.

We vaccinate adults, who have No insurance. The vaccines available are: Td (Tetnus Diptheria), TDAP (Tetnus Diptheria and Pertussis), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, MMR (Measles Mumps and Rubella), Chicken Pox, & Shingles. The Shingles vaccine is recommended for adults who are at least 60 years of age. The Chicken Pox vaccine is recommended for adults who have never had chicken pox.


It's time to get your childrens back to school shots, before the back to school rush. We are a month away from school starting. If you wait until the last minute it will be hard to get your children vaccinated on time. There will be long waits, and the possibility of the clinic being out of some of the vaccines your child needs.
We only do vaccines on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 until we have taken all we can complete, in order to close by 6:00.
However, we will have an immunization clinic on August 7th from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. The Spirit Of St. Michael Bus will be on site to help. Please bring an immunization record. We service children that have no insurance, are underinsured, on medicaid, and are American Indian or Alaskan Native.

If you have a WIC class that is due for the month of May today is the last day to turn in online classes. You can visit www.TexasWIC.org to complete an online class.Online classes are accepted Mon-Thurs, 7am-11am or 1pm-5:30pm.

Have you gotten your FLU shot yet? If not, please come by and see us during Immunization clinics on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-5pm. Children that have Texas Medicaid, are underinsured or have no insurance are covered under the Texas Vaccine for Children program with an administration fee. Adults are $25.
