Our mission is Rescue, Raise, Rehabilitate, and Release. Each patient we receive is meant to return to the wild and that is exactly our intentions with every one of them! We all need a helping hand once in awhile, they are no different.

Today, I received a Mother Barn Owl and her four babies, a heartbreaking situation. Her mate tragically passed away after they were both caught in hay netting, and she was left struggling to feed her little ones. Despite her severe leg injury, she fought to keep her babies alive, even resorting to using her mate for food. A man managed to rescue them and get them to safety with me, but their journey to recovery is just beginning. They will soon be transferred to Operation Wildlife for further care, but feeding these five mouths is costly. They need about 15 rats a day, which adds up quickly. Please help me raise funds to support their rehabilitation and give them a chance to return to the wild. Like, comment, and share this post to help spread the word and make a difference for this family in need.

Guys, we have outgrown the little bedroom I have been raising babies and nursing sick/hurt patients in! I absolutely NEED a proper safe haven for these guys. How are we going to raise the funds for this? What would you be interested in? It's going to take about $10,000 just to get this set up and still need money to keep these critters alive and releaseable! I absolutely need your help. Tell me what motivates you to help! Give me ideas!

Do you want to watch more birds? Here is something that will attract them! Put nesting materials in a suet feeder and help them build their homes nearby! Squirrels will also use this. Just keep filling it this spring, and if it gets wet, replace the materials so they have something dry to choose from.

Just a little peek... I got a call from dispatch last Sunday that someone had an injured owl. So I called the finders and they explained to me that when they lit their wood stove they heard scratching up the pipe. So they quickly took it apart and this guy fell out. They contained it and waited for me to arrive. He was scared, stressed, and cold. I couldnt tell if he was burnt because this beautiful bird that is naturally white and tan was all black with smoke and soot. First 2 days was all about warming, hydrating, and reducing stress levels. Yesterday food was introduced and meds were given. Today will be an attempt at cleaning him up. Pray this all goes well and that soon he can return to the wild!! He has medical and food bills that will continue to pile up until his release. If you're interested in helping finance his care, please let me know!!
