Downingtown Parks and Recreation The Downingtown Parks and Recreation Commission was established to help promote community involvement within Downingtown. Meetings begin at 7 p.m.

The Downingtown Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month in the Administration Conference Room in Borough Hall, 4 West Lancaster Avenue Downingtown PA, 19335. and are open to the public, comments and concerns are welcomed and encouraged. Come out to Downingtown’s first outdoor Gallery Walk on Sunday May 31st from 11-2pm at Kerr park. There will be over 30 local artists on display, a food truck, music and free kids activities. There will also be vendors with all local art to shop.

Calling all volunteers! We'll be at it again this Thursday, May 14, starting around 4:45 pm. Weeding with a twist at the Johnsontown Park pollinator garden. Guess what!!! We'll also be removing the fence. All volunteers welcome as we prep for our grand opening. See you Thursday evening!

It's a 1st Birthday / Grand Opening celebration at the pollinator garden in Johnsontown Park.

Join us on May 31st from 11-2pm as the Chester County Mural And Arts Project hosts our first ever Gallery Walk! There are over 30 local artists along with a special Kids Corner! There will also be food, coffee, music and a chance to meet the artists after you walk the path.

Come walk the outdoor gallery and enjoy this incredible display of local art!
