Due to inclement weather, all evening swim lessons scheduled for tonight, June 17, have been canceled.

An email has been sent to all swim lesson families with information regarding make-up and refund options.

⛈️ EARLY CLOSURE NOTICE ⛈️

Due to forecasted storms expected to move into the area this afternoon, the Tipton City Pool will close for the day at 1:30 PM.

The safety of our guests and staff remains our top priority, and we are making this decision proactively to ensure everyone has time to leave the facility safely before weather conditions deteriorate.

💦 The splash pad will remain open to the public as weather conditions allow.

⛈️ WEATHER UPDATE ⛈️

We're keeping a close eye on today's forecast and the potential for severe weather later this afternoon.

At this time, the Tipton City Pool plans to open as scheduled at 12:00 PM. We will remain open as long as weather conditions safely allow.

Once storms move into the area, we will close for the remainder of the day. Any changes to our operating hours will be announced here on our page.

Due to cooler air temperatures and the potential for rain this evening, AquaZUMBA has been canceled for tonight.

🏊 The Tipton City Pool remains OPEN and we plan to stay open as long as weather conditions and attendance make sense throughout the day.

🥤 DIRTY SODAS ARE COMING TO THE TIPTON CITY POOL! 🥤

For a limited time this Saturday and Sunday, we'll have a pop-up Dirty Soda stand available at the pool for just $5 each.

Never had a dirty soda? Think of it as your favorite soda mixed with flavored syrups and a splash of creamer for a smooth, sweet, and refreshing summer treat.

This weekend's lineup includes:

🥥 The 1938 – The original dirty soda named after the year the Tipton City Pool was established. Crisp Dr Pepper blended with coconut flavor and creamy goodness for a smooth, sweet classic.

💙 The Splash Pad – A bright blue poolside favorite featuring lemon-lime soda, blue raspberry, coconut, and cream for the perfect taste of summer.

🩷 The TCP – Our signature pink drink. Sweet strawberry and coconut flavors mixed with cream for a refreshing poolside treat.

Stop by, cool off, and try one while supplies last!

🏊 SWIM LESSON REMINDERS 🏊

Lessons begin this week!

📍 Enter through the Splash Pad entrance (west parking lot) and check in at the front desk.

⏰ Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first lesson.

💵 Payment is due at the first lesson. Cash only.

📱 All weather updates and cancellations will be posted on the Tipton City Pool page by 10:00 AM for morning lessons and 6:00 PM for evening lessons.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents must remain behind the black railing and stay on-site during lessons.

🏊 Our updated curriculum focuses on both swimming skills and water safety. Participants may move between groups and instructors as they progress.

⛈️ HOURS UPDATE ⛈️

To avoid the highest rain and storm chances expected around midday, the Tipton City Pool will delay opening today until 2:00 PM.

🏊 Pool Hours Today: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

While temperatures have cooled down a bit, it still looks like it could be a nice afternoon to enjoy the pool once the weather moves through.

🎉 A private event is scheduled from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. This event includes use of both the pool and splash pad, so the splash pad will not be open to the public during that time.

💦 The splash pad will reopen to the public and remain open and free after 8:00 PM.

While the pool may not open until noon, our staff were hard at work this morning during our weekly in-service training.

Our Front Desk team reviewed the new swim lesson check-in procedures that will begin Monday, while our Lifeguards focused on critical safety skills including head, neck, and spinal injury management, missing child procedures, and a full Emergency Action Plan activation that included a simulated spinal extrication from the water.

We also put our guards through a fun scanning challenge called The Invisible Water Bottle. Twenty label-less water bottles were hidden throughout the pool, each worth different point values toward their friendly season-long TCP Lifeguard Games competition. The exercise helps activate the active searching skills lifeguards rely on every day rather than falling into passive watching habits.

Being a lifeguard is about much more than sitting in the sun. Every week our team spends hours practicing emergency response skills, refining procedures, and preparing for situations we hope never happen.

A big thank you to our staff for their commitment to keeping the Tipton City Pool safe all summer long!
