As students head back to school, residents can expect to see more school buses, children walking to and from bus stops, and increased traffic during the morning and afternoon hours.

Please remember to slow down, stay alert, and use extra caution, especially in residential neighborhoods and around bus stops. Be sure to obey all school bus safety laws and allow yourself a few extra minutes to reach your destination, as there may be additional stops and delays along your normal route.

Let’s all do our part to help ensure a safe and successful school year for our students, families, and bus drivers! 🍎📓✏️

Coolbaugh Township is proud to participate in Monroe County Meals on Wheels’ Client Needs Drive, providing more than a meal to seniors and homebound residents. A donation drop box is now available at the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Center, 5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, PA.

Most-needed items include men’s deodorant, toothpaste, dental tablets, toilet paper, dish soap, liquid hand soap, and tissues. Donations will be accepted at the Municipal Center through September 5.
