Peach State FCU makes Donation to Neighbors 4 Neighbors Food Pantry
Neighbors 4 Neighbors (N4N) recently received a $1,000 donation from the Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation which is the philanthropic arm of Peach State Federal Credit Union, says Dee Scarborough, Secretary for Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Peach State FCU Advisory Board member. "These funds will be used to purchase food and personal hygiene items for our clients. Every dollar given goes a long way to provide for our hungry families. Neighbors 4 Neighbors currently operates a mobile pantry of food items and personal hygiene essentials on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 10 a.m. in the back parking lot of St. Matthias Episcopal Church on Tugalo Street. In addition to this distribution, Neighbors 4 Neighbors sponsors the Food 2 Kids program, providing weekend food for qualifying children in our schools, as well as providing an emergency food service when a need arises."
