Especially proud to announce we have been endorsed by the hard working men and women of Teamsters Local 20. The local has 5000+ members and covers 15 counties in Northwest Ohio. Local 20 was originally chartered in 1903 and was one of 16 locals originally chartered by the International Brotherhood Of Teamsters. Thank you all for your strong support!

Another fantastic weekend getting around the Appellate District. We started off at the Wood County Fair. Stopped by to hang out with our slate of candidates, and to talk with folks about issues that matter the most to them.

Then we pulled up to the Toledo Jeep Fest- Parade. We had a great time celebrating an event that brings together our shared and proud “Jeep history” along with several thousand enthusiastic people in attendance. This year I was honored to ride along with the Zenobia Shriners - Ron and Jon, and “special guest” Kermit the Frog.

Then the campaign hit the Swanton Cornfest Parade. Did you know the festival was started in 1908 by local business owners as a way to say thank you to customers for supporting local merchants.

We finished the weekend at the - 2nd Annual “Rise and Thrive” Back to School Community Health Fair at the Wayman Palmer YMCA. Fantastic job to Drs. Jamie McBride and Michael Bush-Arnold MD and the Empower Wellness Foundation. The organization offered free health, vision and dental screenings, as well as distributed 2000 backpacks. It was great to be out in the heart of our city, do an interview with the THE JUICE FM 107.3 and celebrate events that bring people together from “all” parts of the community!

Had another fantastic time today at 3rd Day of the Wood County Fair…… Day is always one of the most well attended events at the fair. As an elected official, I got the opportunity to assist the Wood County Committee On Aging with serving lunch and talking with over 500+ seniors in attendance. Great time making so many new friends and connecting with some old friends too!

Had a great time this weekend attending Day at the Wood County Fair. I enjoyed talking to fellow veterans about what matters most to them and about what makes northwest Ohio so special. I was invited to participate in the parade, be interviewed by Lori King from Definitely a King Podcast and got a chance to connect with - Miss Ohio 2026, Lexie Miller.

Now that some time has passed, again I want to send strength and comfort to those injured during the unfortunate gun violence incident at the Old West End Festival this year.

I also want to recognize the heroic efforts of those Toledo Police Officers who rendered emergency aid and assistance in the face of chaos and danger. This kind of heroism is a perfect example of what it “really” means to serve and protect.

I am proud to be endorsed by the Toledo Police Patrolman's Association and Toledo Police Command Officers Association.

100 days until the Election Day…. Another fantastic weekend traveling the Appellate District.

On Saturday, I stopped by the Erie County Democratic Party Headquarters in , Ohio to thank all the volunteers who came out to canvass. Once again it was great to witness the incredible energy in the room…… Then off to , Ohio for the Ottawa County Fair. Got a chance to chat with folks about our shared commitment to community. It was great to connect with Susan Mulligan - candidate for County Commissioner. We ended up in Sandusky County at Fremont Ohio Pride. Birchard Park was the perfect venue to meet so many incredible members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Had a great time!

Twice this week….. I had the rare opportunity to meet two while talking with seniors about “How the Court of Appeals Works” at the Great Lakes Community (GLCAP) Senior Center in , Ohio and the Wood County Committee On Aging Senior Center in , Ohio. Thank you all for the warm hospitality!

Spent another action packed weekend traveling all around the District. Saturday we participated in the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union African American Parade. Shout to Councilman John Hobbs III and my brothers of APhiA-Alpha Xi Lambda Chapter (NWO) for pulling up and showing support. Then off to , Ohio for the opening of the Erie County Democratic Party headquarters. The room was filled to capacity with folks highly motivated and activated for the next 100 days. We ended the weekend in , Ohio at the annual Cold Creek Grand parade. We had a great time this weekend!

Jam-packed weekend….. Started off Thursday morning visiting the Great Lakes Community Senior Center in Fremont, then off to the Perrysburg Area Democratic Club Annual picnic later that evening. Saturday morning we had a great time participating in the Huron River Fest parade and we also had a fantastic volunteer squad at the Delta Chicken Festival Parade as they celebrated 70 years of existence. Later in the afternoon we attended the Wood County (Ohio) Democratic Party Annual picnic with our statewide candidates. Then back to Toledo for Lucas County Recorder Michael Ashford's old fashioned picnic event.

We closed out the weekend attending an event on Sunday for Amy Acton hosted by Ohio State Board of Education - Teresa Fedor and Joel Obrecht at their beautiful venue overlooking the Maumee River.

It was an absolute joy to experience such amazing community spirit, meet so many new people and of course I had to sample the funnel cake. IFKYK
