During this festive season of joy and giving, the National Park Service presents the entrance fee-free dates for 2024! On these days, and throughout the year, all are invited to experience the magic and wonder of national parks.

The entrance fee-free days for 2024 are:

⭐️ June 19 – Juneteenth
⭐️ August 4 – Great American Outdoors Day

Help us save your pumpkins from the scary landfills!! 👻🎃It’s almost that time of year to say goodbye to those Halloween pumpkins and gourds. Don’t throw them out though - they are 100% compostable! This year, a group of compost businesses, community gardens, landscapers, and more have teamed up to offer pumpkin drop off spots all over WNY.

Drop offs are open Friday November 3rd though Sunday 5th from 10am-4pm at the following locations:

🎃Dearborn Street Community Garden - Buffalo
🎃The English Gardener - Snyder

All pumpkins collected with either be composted on site or brought to Buffalo River Compost, Erie County, or us, Farmer Pirates Compost. Pumpkins should not be bleached / painted and have candles / lanterns removed. For more information check out posts and website!


Our Senior Center is hosting a Defensive Driving class that will get you laughing and saving money. The instructor, Ray, is a hoot! Call 716.692.7029 to sign-up. This class is open to the public.

Polls open today and next Saturday until 5 pm, 9 am-5 pm tomorrow and next Sunday; weekdays, 12-9 pm.

On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7 polls are open 6 am-9 pm.

We are excited to announce a new restaurant fundraiser, this time at DiBella's Subs on 1420 Niagara Falls Boulevard. For this fundraiser, we will receive 20% of all orders placed by club members the ENTIRE WEEK from Saturday October 21st- Saturday October 28th. Simply mention you're ordering for the fundraiser when placing in store orders, or use the code TSOCCER20 when placing online orders to qualify. Though they typically do not allow catering orders to be a part of the fundraiser, DiBella's has graciously agreed to allow orders of single sub trays to be included in the fundraiser as well. If ordering sub trays, please contact the Buffalo Catering Manager Stacy Genco at (716) 989-0722 or [email protected] to place your order, and inform them of your order for the fundraiser.
