Today, members of the Tonganoxie Police Department were proud to participate and run in the Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Kansas.

The Torch Run is much more than a relay, it is a powerful symbol of inclusion, determination, and community support for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Every mile run and every dollar raised helps provide opportunities for Special Olympics athletes to compete, grow, and showcase their incredible abilities.

We are honored to stand alongside law enforcement agencies across Kansas supporting this outstanding cause. The athletes of Special Olympics inspire us through their courage, perseverance, and sportsmanship, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help carry the Flame of Hope.
