Aldersgate Village Life Plan Community Aldersgate Village is a faith-based senior living neighborhood, open to people of all denominations and faith backgrounds.

Our faith-based community in Topeka, Kansas, offers a full range of services for seniors: independent living, assisted living, home plus, home health and respite care. Our purpose is not driven by a profit motive, but rather specifically to ensure seniors in Northeast Kansas receive compassionate, person-centered healthcare in a warm and welcoming community. It is also our Christian and socially-r

esponsible mission, to advocate for and serve those advanced in age; actively engaging mind, body and spirit and making certain they receive the dignity of love, care and respect in their most vulnerable years. Did you know Aldersgate Village has its very own wood shop on campus? 🪵✨

Our residents put it to great use over the past few weeks during our multi-week woodworking class! Guided by the talented Ryan Simpson, Wood Shop Teacher from Seaman Middle School, everyone got hands-on experience crafting their very own custom cutting boards from scratch.

Seeing the pride and excitement on everyone's faces as the finished boards came together was the best part.

We were so honored to recently host "Planning Ahead: Navigating Dementia & Aging with Confidence & Compassion" right here at Aldersgate Village!

Navigating the journey of aging and dementia isn't something anyone has to do alone. We teamed up with our incredible community partners at Stormont Vail Health and CoreFirst Bank & Trust to host an informative, comprehensive seminar dedicated to supporting local seniors and their families.

Our expert panel broke down crucial topics, including:
🩺 Medical Insights: Understanding dementia and what to expect.
🤝 Caregiver Support: Practical guidance and advice for the journey.
🏡 Senior Living Environments: Finding the right specialized care settings.
⚖️ Financial & Legal Protection: Crucial steps to safeguard yourself and your loved ones.
