Today we’re shining a spotlight on a true CASA champion—David Porterfield! 💙
Back in October 2011, David was honored for an incredible 20 years of volunteer service to CASA of Shawnee County. Through both his personal dedication and his business, Porterfield’s Flowers, David has been a cornerstone of our Homes for the Holidays Tour since the very beginning.
Year after year, he lends his creative talent to beautifully decorate one of the featured homes—helping make this beloved event so special for our community. 🎄🏡
As we look ahead, we’re excited to celebrate the 39th year of Homes for the Holidays—made brighter thanks to longtime supporters like David.

Today we recognize and thank our Citizen Review Board (CRB) Volunteers.

CRB members play a vital role in our child welfare system by reviewing cases and offering informed recommendations that help guide the court toward decisions that are in a child’s best interest.
