Traer Municipal Swimming Pool

Traer Municipal Swimming Pool Traer has a long history of providing a municipal pool for its residents’ enjoyment, dating back to 1931. The current pool opened in the summer of 2018.

We look forward to opening for the 2022 summer season! Traer had the first swimming pool in Tama County. Forty-five years later that pool was in dire need of repair and Traer residents voted to replace the original pool. The next pool opened in 1979 and was in operation for 37 years. With the support of the community, the city moved forward with planning a new pool. After two years of construction
