NJTIA was honored to join the spirit of the semi quincentennial at the Historic Elizabeth Waterfront with the breathtaking Ernestina Morrissey, the only official Sail250 tall ship docked in NJ.

Board officers Lori Pepenella, Judy Ross and Jennifer Costa recognized Mayor J Christian Bollwage who received the first-ever NJTIA Destination Champion award for a municipal leader, recognizing Elizabeth's incredible growth in tourism. Lt Governor Caldwell commemorated the occasion as well as celebrated his birthday during the landmark event.
