Ready, Set, GO!! Scouts in Gilchrist County are gearing up for some fun in January. They will be holding their Pinewood Derby workshop to prepare for their annual Pinewood Derby in February. Building their Derby cars is a highlight of the scouting year. Scouts learn how to safely use tools to build and decorate their own cars. This also teaches them good sportsmanship as they race their cars down a long track to win the 1st place trophy. If you want to join in on the fun go to www.BeAScout.org to sign up.
