If you're planning to board a domestic flight or enter certain federal buildings, a standard ID won't cut it anymore. You need that little star ⭐ in the corner.

To get REAL ID compliant, you'll typically need:
✅ Proof of identity + full legal name
✅ Proof of Social Security number
✅ TWO proofs of residency
✅ Proof of any legal name changes (marriage certificate, court order, etc.)

That name-change document? Frequently needs notarizing. So does an affidavit if you're missing a required paper.
