What a great August meeting last night. Those on our November ballot (or proxy) were able to speak with those in attendance. Our SREC Committee Representatives, Lydia Covey and Tony Robertson, gave a GOTV demonstration. We got an update on what is going on in the City of Trinity and Republican Party. A huge thank you to the Trinity VFW Post 6899 for allowing us to hold this evening event .

Reminder, the Republican Women of Trinity County is having our August meeting, Wednesday, August 19th, 2026 @ Trinity VFW Post 6889. Fellowship and a light meal will begin at 5:30pm and speakers and business will begin at 6:00pm. This is a special meeting as we will have several Republican candidates who are on the ballot this November. And this election affects who will be representing Trinity County. Come out and join us. Bring your family and friends. See you there.

The Angelina County Republican Party will have a special guest at their August monthly meeting. Republican candidate for AG Commissioner, Nate Sheets will be joining them. It is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, 2026 @ 6PM. It will be at Fairview Baptist Church located at 3742 FM 2108 in Lufkin, TX, 75901.

The Texas Federation of Republican Women is saddened to hear of the passing of one of our most treasured and trailblazing members, the Honorable Kay Granger. She was a long-time member of the Texas Federation of Republican Women and was named as a Woman of Distinction along with being the first to win the Kay Bailey Hutchison Leadership Award in 2013.

Congresswoman Granger set the example for all Texas Republican Women. She was a mother, a teacher, a businesswoman, the first woman Mayor of Fort Worth, the first Republican woman elected to Congress from Texas, and the first Republican woman to serve as Chairwoman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee.

She leaves a lasting legacy of public service and commitment to her community and to all women in politics. Our sincere condolences and prayers to her family and friends.

Everyone is asking, "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭?"

The answer is simple: 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!

Beginning 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, clubs can start submitting 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐬. The goal is clear:

✅ 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐖 𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Clubs that begin the new year fully renewed will earn 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 recognition and start 2027 with a strong foundation for continued membership growth.

The most successful clubs know that 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Renew your members first, then spend the year welcoming new ones.
