The last spade of soil hand dug for the new parking area next to the Trout Valley Celebration Garden that will be planted to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Village of Trout Valley being established. Stone will be placed in the excavated area to provide a firm and stable area for cars/golf carts to park on while the visitors explore the garden and have their photos taken next to the trout statue.

Thank you to the person who left this bird nesting box at the Fen. We will mount it in the Fen for the birds of Trout Valley to use next spring.

Ryan Rickerson at Your Ecological Solutions delivered the final 77 plants for the garden bed at the Barn. Volunteers put those plants in the ground in 30 minutes. Special thanks to The Land Conservancy of McHenry County for their assistance with this project.

Ryan from Your Ecological Solutions (Y.E.S.) brought out 150 native plants to create a new pollinator garden at the Bran area. He laid them out and 2 hours later we have the beginnings of the garden. More plants to arrive later in the year.
