We need your books!! Book sales are only successful when we have books to sell! We are low on fiction!! We need your romance, mystery, sci-fi, westerns and miscellaneous fiction! Donations can be dropped off on Tuesdays from 9 am-7:30 pm at The Tri-Township Library, 209 S. Main St, Troy IL

We also accept magazines (less than a year old), DVDs, CDs, games and puzzles (please no VHS)

Book Sale Saturday!

Need something to do now that the kids are back in school! Stock up on your fall reading at The Friends of the Tri-Township Library book sale on Saturday, August 15 from 9 am-noon at 209 S. Main St, Troy IL 📕 📚 💙 Need a DVD, game or puzzle to beat the heat? We have those too! Prices range from 10¢-$2!

Book Sale Saturday! Coming up July 18, 9-Noon at the Tri-Township Library, Troy, IL 📖 📕 Beat the heat with a good book!

Special sale this Saturday: buy 1 10¢ kids book, get 1 free!!

Did you know we have the cheapest book sale books in the area? Most books are only 10¢, but the most expensive book is only $2. We also have games & puzzles for 25¢-$2.

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization that directly supports the local community, the Tri-Township Library, and literacy programs in the area. We also award two $1,000 scholarships to deserving Triad graduates!

Will see you at the next one, Saturday, July 18th! As always, if you have donations of books, puzzles, games, CDs or DVDs, we accept them on Tuesdays at the Tri-township Library in Troy or on book sale days.

We absolutely love that you trust us to give your gently used books a happy new home! 📚❤️ Our community's generosity is what makes our book sales so wonderful.

However, we want to share a gentle reminder about why we ask that all book donations be dropped off only during our designated donation days (every Tuesday from open to close, and on official book sale days).

Over this past weekend while we were closed, several stacks of books were left outside by our front door. Because of the heavy rain we received, these books became completely water-damaged and, heartbreakingly, we have no choice but to throw them away. 🌧️😢

When books are left outside after hours, they are unfortunately vulnerable to the elements, humidity, and pests. To ensure your amazing donations actually make it to future readers, please hold onto them until our next designated donation day!
