The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board awarded $80,000 in college scholarships to 80 students during its meeting held on June 11, 2026. A total of 168 applications were submitted.

Scholarship funds are donated by Cuivre River Electric members who participate in Operation Round Up by rounding up their electric bill payments each month to the next highest dollar.

Through the generosity of our members participating in Operation Round Up, $25,503 in community grants were awarded in April to support local families and organizations across our service area.
These grants helped fund:
✅ Special needs and foster care programs
✅ Camp scholarships for children
✅ School safety equipment
✅ Food pantry supplies
✅ Library and YMCA programs
✅ Substance abuse prevention efforts
