I shared a book earlier that was all about getting into a mindful state quick. This book uses a slightly different strategy. It includes an 8-week program that is designed to help you become a more mindful person.

I discovered mindfulness (and other meditation practices) about four years ago and it's been a GAME-CHANGER for me in terms of how I get through the day. These practices - like MINDFULNESS - have given me some "mental space" and allow me to find that extra moment to decide to RESPOND rather than REACT to any given pitch that life throws my way.

I wasn't in the mood to put this out on yesterday's 21st anniversary of 9/11. But today, I'll share a nugget of wisdom from the Dalai Lama about resilience and hope:
