Honoring Heroes Through Craftsmanship
Spencer Construction is proud to have contributed to the creation of the Arizona Heroes Memorial in Naranja Park, Oro Valley—a powerful tribute to the service members, first responders, and healthcare professionals who have selflessly served our community, state, and nation.
This one-of-a-kind memorial is a place of honor, reflection, remembrance, education, and celebration. At its heart stands a 24-foot-high centerpiece monument, symbolizing the strength and courage of our heroes. Surrounding it are large concrete walls embedded with bronze medallions, each representing a different uniformed service and healthcare profession. A covered amphitheater supports educational events and community gatherings.

🧱 A custom concrete mix was developed to ensure durability and deliver a rustic metal aesthetic.
🧰 Custom molds were created to shape the unique forms of the monument, walls, and amphitheater—blending form and function seamlessly.
🌵 We used high-performance concrete with low shrinkage and enhanced durability to withstand Arizona’s climate.
🏗️ Self-consolidating concrete enabled us to meet the project’s complex structural and aesthetic demands with precision.
