TFD crews responded to a reported commercial structure fire at a local tire shop. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly initiated fire attack operations and successfully extinguished and contained the fire, preventing further extension to the building and surrounding properties.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

πŸš’TFD crews recently responded to a column of smoke witnessed during a multi-company drill, putting their skills and teamwork to the test.
πŸ’§ Water on the fire in 27 seconds 🚰 Water shuttle and booster backup water supply operations were established to support fire attack.
Following fire knockdown, crews conducted a primary search of the interior, resulting in an all-clear. The fire was successfully contained to one rail car, with no exposure damage to adjacent rail cars.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the TFD Arson Unit and the Railroad Police Department.
Training today means readiness tomorrow. Always prepared to serve the City of Tulare.

Today, Tulare City Fire Department had the honor of hosting our hometown hero and Olympic medalist boxer during a ride-along with our crews.
From stepping into the daily life of a firefighter to taking on one of our strenuous firefighter workouts in full PPE and breathing air from an SCBA, they experienced firsthand the physical and mental demands of the job.
We’re proud to showcase the dedication, discipline, and work ethic that connect elite athletes and firefighters alike. Thank you for spending the day with us and representing our community on the world stage.

Our recruits continue to make steady progress as they advance through Week 7 of the Tulare Fire Department Academy.
Today's Physical Training focused on basketball, providing an opportunity to build teamwork, communication, and camaraderie. Activities like these help strengthen the bonds between recruits while reinforcing the importance of working together under pressure.
