🚨PUBLIC NOTICE🚨

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 6:30 a.m., Hyperion will conduct a scheduled test of the Firefly gunshot detection system in downtown Tupelo. This testing will involve live gunfire in a safe and controlled environment, with Tupelo Police officers present.

People in the area may hear multiple gunshots during the test, which is expected to last about one hour. There is no danger to the public.
We appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve public safety technology in our community.
