One of the great things about working in the City of Two Rivers is the overwhelming support from all of our residents and businesses!

It seems like every day there is a business or family that donates something to the fire department and we truly appreciate it!

There are to many people to thank, but know that we love our community and all of the support!

On February 24th the Two Rivers Fire Department was dispatched for a person unconscious and not breathing. While en-route, dispatch advised CPR was started by family. Once the Two Rivers Police Department arrived, they continued CPR until TRFD arrived. The highly trained TRFD paramedics performed several lifesaving procedures that were able to convert the patient into a sustainable heart rhythm. At that time they were able to diagnose that Neil was having a heart attack and transported him to the appropriate hospital.

Today, Neil Tice was able to walk into the station and personally thank the crew that saved his life! There is no higher reward in our job than to make a significant impact on someone's life! We are so happy to see that Neil has made a full recovery, and thankful for the outcome!

We are so saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of MPO/Paramedic Hoffman. Our hearts are heavy as we keep the brothers and sisters of the MFD, and his family in our prayers. Kevin always had a smile on his face and a soft voice. Kevin truly cared about his patients, and everyone he knew. You are gone now, but we promise, You will never be forgotten.

Rest In Peace MPO/Paramedic Hoffman.

It is with great sadness that the Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department announce the passing of Retired Motor Pump Operator Kevin Hoffman. Kevin entered eternal life Thursday evening, February 27, 2020 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc at the age of 56.

The City of Two Rivers Fire Department is known to provide customer service, traditionally through fire/EMS responses. TRFD personnel strive to go beyond the call of duty to provide the best possible customer service in many ways.

Tonight, City of Two Rivers Firefighters took part in “Team Cody” at the Two Rivers High School to help senior Cody Lewis in his fight with cancer.

The Two Rivers Fighters Local 423 donated $500 to help towards medical expenses/food/gas.

On Friday’s, you will see Fire Department personnel looking a little different from our traditional blue uniforms. In support of Cody, we will wear purple Team Cody shirts to show our support and to let Cody know he isn’t in this fight alone. #CodyStrong

https://www.helpinglostpets.com/petdetail/?id=2781269 Husband and I were out on a walk at around 9pm May 6th 2019. All of a sudden our dog stopped. We looked, and a little cat was trying to greet our dog. Such a friendly cat - he wanted so much attention from us. He kept following us down the street, and when cars would go by, he would sprint away but come back to us. He was rolling around, submitting to us and letting us pet him. We were scared for him so we took him home. He is not neutered, nor has a microchip, or collar.
