B-shift got in the water today. No ice YET but who knows what will happen after the cold snap coming through! Always be prepared!
Breakfast with Sant is 1 week away! Tickets can be purchased online, at the firehouse, or at the event!
THE VOTES ARE IN! C-Shift wins with a tight race against TRPD! (Unfortunately B-Shift has two blondies and didn’t have to die their grey stach’) 😂
WE NEED YOUR HELP! The guys from TRFD and TRPD worked very hard to attempt to make mustaches look good on themselves to raise awareness for men’s health!
We need your help to determine who can sport the stach’ the best!
Choices are: B-Shift - The happy crew
C-Shift - The serious ones
TRPD- best officers around!

At 1:00 am this morning the Two Rivers Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a vehicle in the East Twin River with an occupant. Upon arrival, the vehicle was in some shallow water on the bank of the river, due to the high water levels we have been experiencing. The occupant was not injured. TRPD is investigating at this time.

Thank you to ALL veterans with us today and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom and country! Many firefighters wear several different hats, and 2 of our current members have served in the military. Thank you Acting Captain Menges and Firefighter/Paramedic Andrew Taddy!
A few weeks back, the Two Rivers Fire Department responded to an incident where 3 people were transported to the hospital due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. It is very important to check your CO alarms and be smart with heating appliances!
Carbon monoxide is so dangerous. Please take steps to protect yourself and your family.

A-Shift, C-Shift have submitted their photos per the rules to show a clean start. Come on TRPD, let’s see them!
November 3rd! Not only is it time to change your clocks, but check your batteries also!
Other things to consider; having your chimney inspected/cleaned, and have your furnace/boiler inspected!
Happy 49th Birthday Assistant Chief Murack!!
As Fire Prevention Week comes to an end, we would like to thank all of the schools that let us come talk to the kids about fire safety. We truly enjoy it as much as they do! Special Thank You to FF Ewert and Captain Isselman for you hard work and coordination. If you would like to submit any pictures please tag our page or email to [email protected].
Pictures below are from Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA 2,3, and 4 year olds!
You may have heard that our friendly firefighters have/will be at our local schools this week. This year's theme is "Not every hero wears a cape. We would also like to stress and promote the need for an escape plan.
Escape Plans are very important because fires are burning much hotter and faster than they used to. It is important to plan your primary escape route, and a backup and decide where to meet outside of the house. Extras may include a fire extinguisher near an exit and escape ladders in second story bedrooms.
We look forward to teaching our youth and if there are any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Great job TRPD!
A new program has been started in our elementary schools where random students are selected every month from each elementary school to take part in a special lunch hour. The students are picked up in the DARE squad car by Officer Jake Glaser, McDonald's is picked up for lunch and they are taken to eat at the police department with other police officers. It should be a fun new program for students to interact with our officers.
On 9/26/19 Two Rivers E10 was requested for a box alarm sturcture fire in the Town of Rockwood. The fire was located in a pole building and was a complete loss. A tender shuttle was provided by neighboring departments as part of MABAS 128.

9/11/2001 @ 0846 hrs the first plane crashes into the North Tower. The world stands still and everyone one is in awe. Was it an isolated incident or an accident/malfunction?
0930 hrs the second airplane crashes into the South Tower. Now we know this isn't an accident..
The moment then second attack was made someone told me that you'll never forget this moment and what you were doing. Do you remember?
Our hearts are heavy as we reflect and respect all those who lost their lives that day and the days/years to come due to illnesses caused from that day because of their selfless acts of heroism.
After over 30 years of service, we congratulate HEO Mark "Bump" Stampfl on his retirement today. Thank you for your dedication and service to the North Shore!
C-Shift enjoyed the cool weather today by conducting MPO (Motor Pump Operator) training with paid on call firefighters and a high school shadow.
Training today was drafting water from a dry hydrant at a local business. Dry hydrants are different that normal (red/yellow) hydrants because they are not pressurized and usually draw water from a pond or under ground storage basin and you have to use suction to get the water into the truck.
