Tyler Main Street Program Announcement

Fall Photography Workshop & Field Trip
Here's a great opportunity to have your photography questions answered, work on any problems, meet other photographers, and put your study into practice in a relaxed, real world, natural ranch environment.

Participants will meet at the Gallery Main Street at 1:30pm for a friendly constructive review of your best photographs and problem images so we can praise success and also suggest ways to improve your photographs.

The group will leave the gallery in time for an afternoon, sunset, moonrise shoot at a fabulous local ranch. Subject matter will be lakes, wooded and pastoral landscapes, an old barn, horses and all the images you associate with ranch life. Thanks for your support!

Veteran Related Legislative Results from 83rd Texas Legislature

The following is the outcome for the major Veteran related bills considered by the 83rd Texas Legislature.

A major victory was the passage of HB 194 which will allow Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses to compete for State contracts in the same category as HUBs (Historically Underutilized Businesses: based on race, gender and ethnicity). This is the 4th Legislative Session (and the 8th year) that the Texas Coalition of Veterans Organizations has been advocating for passage of this bill.
