The Salvation Army - LaPorte, IN is offering summer camps. It is open to any children ages 6-17 who reside in La Porte County. The Salvation Army covers all costs - transportation, lodging, food, and activities. Check out the flyer to see all the options and how to register.

Congratulations to our newest Noble Township Trustee, Tom Frain!

Noble Township Trustee sworn in today.
This morning at the LaPorte County Clerks office Tom Frain was appointed to the Trustee position by Allen Stevens, the local Republican Party leader.
Tom will serve the remainder of the term, through 2026, that was vacated by Jesica Watson after she moved from Noble Township.
Tom is the father of the better known TJ Frain that has served as the Union Mills Conservation Club President for the past few years.
Tom is looking forward to helping with the needs of Noble Township and its residence. Look for a Trustee page coming soon.

Attention Noble Township:

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Noble Township for the opportunity to serve as Township Trustee. This role has been a truly special experience that I did not anticipate. Throughout my tenure, I have strived to be as helpful as possible. I am reminded that our community played a significant role in my upbringing, demonstrating the kindness and compassion of its residents, for which I will always be grateful. It has been my privilege to serve this community, and I hope that I have made a positive impact by making people feel supported, encouraged, and appreciated. As my family and I have relocated outside of the township, my time in this position has come to an end. Although I will not be continuing in this role, I am confident that the incoming Township Trustee, who will be announced shortly, will bring immense value to our community, serving its best interests. Once again, I offer my thanks.

2 and 5 inches. Totals of 6 inches possible in southwest Michigan.
Winds gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

* WHEN...From 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Monday to 1 AM EST /midnight
CST/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tonight, temperatures will fall about 30
