The Uniontown Park & Recreation summer trip would not have been possible without the generous support of our Mayor and City Council. Thank you for sponsoring this memorable experience for our youth.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Uniontown and Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Gallion for providing souvenirs for each of our participants. Your kindness made the day even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to T & R Tours for providing safe transportation to and from Montgomery. We truly appreciate your professionalism and commitment to getting everyone there and back safely.

Thank you to all of our parents for entrusting us with your children and for your continued support. We also want to recognize Coach Nate for his leadership and dedication in making this trip a success.

During the trip, our Park & Recreation youth had the opportunity to tour the Legacy Museum in Montgomery, where they learned more about our nation’s history, and then enjoyed lunch together at Pizza Plaza. It was a meaningful day filled with learning, fellowship, and lasting memories.

We are grateful to everyone who played a part in making this experience possible. Together, we continue investing in the future of our youth!

What an amazing time our kids had at camp in Sumter County! 💙🏀

A special thank you to Coach Jazmin Mitchell and her staff for providing such a great experience for our youth. We also want to recognize Coach Nate and Coach Bell for safely escorting the kids and helping make the trip a success.

Thank you to all of our parents for trusting us with your children. This trip would not have been possible without the support of the City of Uniontown, Mayor, and City Council. We truly appreciate your investment in our youth.

A huge thank you to T&R Tours for getting us to and from camp safely and to Katrina Mason for donating the Powerade. To everyone who supports our league in any way, we sincerely thank you. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much.

📢 Reminder for Parents:
Our field trip to the Legacy Museum is Friday, July 31. We will depart at 10:15 a.m. in front of city hall. Please make sure your child arrives on time so we can leave as scheduled.

🏀 BASKETBALL🏀

First and foremost, congratulations to all of our young athletes! Your hard work, determination, and teamwork have made our community proud.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this season possible:

Dr. Ramalho and the team at Breakthrough for allowing us to use their school gym for practice.

The Sealy family, Alabama Livestock Auction (The Stockyard) and the Community Foundation of Uniontown for your generous sponsorships.

Coach Nathaniel Zinnerman and the entire coaching staff for investing your time, patience, and knowledge into our youth.

Every volunteer who gave their time behind the scenes.

Our parents and families for every early morning, late evening, ride to practice, and word of encouragement.

Most importantly, our youth for showing up, working hard, supporting one another, and representing our communities so well.

Though this season was not what we expected it was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for its children. Thank you all for helping create opportunities that extend far beyond the basketball court.

And just like that, the 2026 Uniontown Flag Football season has come to an end 🏈

What a season it has been‼️

We want to extend our heartfelt thank you to every sponsor, supporter, donor, parent, coach, referee, and most importantly, our players. Your time, energy, and commitment are what made this season not only possible, but truly special.

From practices to game day excitement, every moment reflected the strength of our community and the love poured into these kids and our program.

We are proud of what we’ve built together and we’re already looking forward to next season.

Until then… keep practicing, stay safe, and enjoy your summer.
