As Independence Day 2026 slowly comes to a close, the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community and to the many others who came out to our station and purchased their fireworks from us this year.

We asked for your support, and you did far more than support us — you showed out! In fact, you all completely sold us out of fireworks before 8:00 PM this evening! Even during uncertain economic times, you once again stepped up in a huge way and helped make this another banner year for our department.

To everyone who supported our annual fireworks fundraiser, thank you. Your support directly benefits our department and allows us to continue serving our community.

We also want to give special recognition to Chief Jim White and Assistant Chief Daniel Lambert. These two gentlemen have carried the torch for our annual fireworks fundraiser and have done an outstanding job. They have invested countless hours preparing, researching products, organizing inventory, and making sure this event runs smoothly year after year.

Of course, this fundraiser would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and their families, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen. Because of your efforts and the support of our community, we are able to continue providing the services and resources that our citizens depend on.

So once again, thank you all for making Independence Day 2026 another successful year for the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

There’s nothing better than seeing the fireworks flying off the table, kids smiling from ear to ear, and our community coming together to support your local fire department.

Our annual fireworks sale is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’d love to earn your support. We still have a great selection and awesome prices, with something for everyone.

Remember, every dime made stays right here in our community. Nobody is padding their wallet — this fundraiser helps support your local volunteer fire department and the services we provide throughout the year.

Hundreds of man-hours go into preparing and putting this fundraiser together, and we truly appreciate the support from our community and beyond.

OK everybody, it’s that time of year again! Independence Day is almost here, and it’s time to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

As you celebrate America, we invite you to support the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department by stopping by for all your fireworks needs. We still have a great selection and awesome prices!

For nearly 20 years, we have been holding our annual fireworks sale, and this is by far our biggest fundraiser of the year. We owe its success to all of you — not only our local community, but also those from surrounding communities and beyond who continue to support us year after year.

Remember, every dime made here at the fire station stays with the fire station and goes right back into supporting our community. It takes money to fund the department, keep our equipment updated, and ensure our firefighters remain safe, equipped, and well trained.

So by helping us, you’re helping you. No one here profits other than the community we proudly serve.

Come out and see us! We will be open all day today, July 3rd, and all day on the 4th.

🎆 It’s that time of year again! 🎆

For nearly 18 years, the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department has helped provide our community with fireworks supplies for your Fourth of July celebrations! This has become our primary fundraiser each year, and we truly couldn’t do it without your continued support.

You all have always shown up in a big way for us, and we’re asking you to do it again this year! Come out, stop by, and let us help make your Independence Day celebration one to remember.

⏰ We’ll generally be open from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM, with expanded hours as we get closer to July 4th.

Earlier this morning, U.V.F.D. was dispatched to a structure fire on Scales Road. Sadly, the home belonging to the Channing Harden family was a total loss.

In times like these, our community has always come together to support one another, and today is no different.

On behalf of Heritage South Community Credit Union, we want to help spread the word that a fundraising portal has been established to assist the Harden family as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding and recovering from this loss.
