DCH is taking proactive steps to strengthen the integrity of Georgia’s Medicaid program, focusing on reducing fraud, waste and abuse while protecting critical resources for those who need them most. Through an upcoming request for information, DCH is seeking innovative partners to enhance both pre-payment and post-payment oversight. In addition, we are introducing proposed policy updates for high-risk service areas, including Applied Behavioral Analysis and Structured Family Caregiving. These updates will bring stronger safeguards, increased oversight, and clearer standards for providers.
