SOCIAL DISTANCE AND ALLIGATORS

As the Florida State Park system begins to reopen, use caution and keep your eyes peeled as our resident gators haven't seen folks in a while and are likely to be hanging out in places they usually avoid!

Also, we are in mating season and gators are on the move as they look for love.

Simply apply your newly acquired social distancing skills to alligators and enjoy our amazing park system!

** No turtles were harmed in the making of this photo. Well... we can't promise that...

Greetings alligator fans!

In cooperation with our hotel/resort partners, we have decided to susupend all human/animal contact effective immediately in order to protect fans of the alligators as well as their human care-givers.

This is a fluid situation and like all of you, we will be monitoring this situation closely. As always, public safety is our top concern and we plan on resuming normal activities as soon as it makes sense to do so safely.

Boomer the Alligator sends his love from retirement, and Duke the Alligator is looking forward to meeting you all soon! Stay safe and healthy everyone.

What a fantastic day at The Yard Stop Garden Center as 'Boomer' made an appearance at their annual Florida Fest! A big shout out to Claire Bourne for organizing such a wonderful event!

FYI, if you haven't been to Mount Dora, this charming and picturesque lakeside town is one of our favorite towns and a wonderful place to spend a day.
