Calling all Trainers ages 8–11! Get ready to create your very own Pokémon world inside a Poké Ball!

Choose your starter Pokémon and design a custom terrarium using moss, plants, and other decorative materials. Whether you're a seasoned Trainer or just beginning your journey, no experience is needed—all supplies will be provided.

📢 Library Closure Notice

All Scott County Library locations will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.

Library services will resume during regular business hours on Saturday, June 20.

Elko New Market, Jordan, Belle Plaine, Savage, Prior Lake & New Prague Libraries still available 6am - 10pm through Extended Access.

Bridge-in-a-Bag with MNDoT at Jordan Library (Registration Required)

Kids ages 8–11 are invited to join the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Minnesota Department of Transportation) for a hands-on engineering adventure!

Working in teams, participants will design and build a 6-foot truss bridge—taking on real construction roles just like engineers do. Once built, you’ll test it, crawl through it, and even tear it down. Along the way, you’ll learn how engineers design bridges to handle real-world forces (including YOU!).
