This is a great opportunity for tenants to voice concerns directly to council, highlight their unique challenges as renters, and help guide our city council's work regarding housing. Also, April is Fair Housing Month!

🗣Calling all Lucas County Residents!!

💙 Wear Blue on April 8 💙

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved. In our community, that’s not always the reality. Right here in Lucas County, hundreds of children enter foster care each year, and on average, over 800 children are in the custody of children services at any given time.

Behind every number is a child who may be facing fear, uncertainty, or traum; often through no fault of their own.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and this is our chance to stand together and show our community’s children they are not alone.

👕 On Wednesday, April 8, wear blue to raise awareness

📸 Take a photo and share it using

🤝 Start conversations that help protect and support families!

Even small actions can make a big difference. Awareness leads to prevention. Prevention leads to stronger, safer communities.
Let’s come together, because every child deserves a safe childhood.

Three weeks from today! We'll be wearing blue-- how about you?!?
