Acting Director of War Media Activity and Defense Information School Commandant Col. Richard McNorton and Defense Information School Acting Command Sgt. Maj. 1st Sgt. Gerald Woods were inducted into the Ancient Order of Saint Gabriel at the 2026 Army Public Affairs Association Awards Banquet last week.

This honor recognizes a lifetime of leadership and impact in Army Public Affairs.

One of the highest honors in the field, the Order of Saint Gabriel recognizes those who have made lasting contributions to the public affairs and visual information community.
