Brighton's Clean Sweep is tomorrow! Join in with family, friends and neighbors at 9 am at the Market Barn in Buckland Park, 1435 Westfall Rd., to kick start spring with some town-wide beatification.

Monroe Ave. Closure Advisory from NYSDOT:
Beginning 4/29/26, Monroe Ave will close in both directions from 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM nightly through 5/7/26. This closure is accommodating the bridge deck and steel removal.

Eastbound Monroe Ave. will close at the I-590 southbound on ramp. Detour to Allens Creek Rd. to Clover to Monroe.

Westbound Monroe will close at the I-590 northbound on ramp. Detour to I-590 Northbound to Highland to I-590 southbound to exit 2A.

Both directions will be open during the daytime hours.

Brighton Farmers Market opens Sunday, 4/26, at a new summer location! Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, 150 Sawgrass Drive, Sundays from 9am-1pm.

The Town of Brighton will commemorate Black History Month on Friday, February 20th, 2026 at 12 p.m. The event will take place at the Golisano Institute of Business and Entrepreneurship | 150 Sawgrass Drive, Rochester, New York 14620 (across the street from SUNY Empire State University). The Town's program will be held on the second floor in the Nexus Space. Please note, the event will be accessible, ASL interpreted, free and open to the public.

The Town of Brighton is pleased to welcome an esteemed group of guests speakers, including; Dr. Lomax Campbell, Dr. Federick Jefferson, Dr. Arlette Miller-Smith, and Dr. Katrina Overby.

The Town also welcomes the award-winning Garth Fagan Dance, and vocalist, Pamela Mensah.
