Thanks to the generosity of the City of Rochelle, Holcomb Bank, Stillman Bank and Central Bank, we have another lot to build on in Rochelle. The build will begin in 2027.

Further details including - how to apply and dates for informational meetings will be shared later this summer.

We are excited to bring another family into the dream of homeownership!

Thank you, Pastor Nick, from Kishwaukee Community Presbyterian Church, and your youth group members (Wade, Jacob and Nate) for helping our volunteer construction leads (Don and Bruce) with final work on our Davis Junction build!! Even after a tough morning of football practice, these guys showed up to help others and support our mission.

Work included digging out the exposed gravel on the sides of the new blacktop driveway, placing black dirt along the driveway and sidewalk, and sowing some grass seed.

It's time to start thinking about all things Small business bingo! I want to start by thanking all of our venue and bingo card sponsors for this year's events, These fundraisers would not be possible without their generosity. Im excited to announce our recipients this year are Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County, Hub City Senior Center, Rochelle, IL, HOPE of Ogle County, and Shining Star Children's Advocacy Center. Habitat happenings in May:

-Some final work was completed on the Davis Junction home (sidewalk and driveway).
-Gail Tuttle, our board President attended the RACF Granting Futures Community Open House to receive our Community Needs Grant. Thank you again RACF!
- Our newest Habitat homeowner closed on her home with the support of Finance Committee Members-Bryan Markham, Angie Renfro, and Joanne Carr.
