Enjoyed the day answering ‘how do you handle questions’ from the next generation of future female service members.
Provides Service Members with strategies for thriving as a woman in the military & MST Prevention. We address the good, the bad, and the ugly.
This program attempts to bring out issues or challenges into the open in a non- hostile environment while providing education, empowerment, and inspiration for female Service Members, with a variety backgrounds and experiences. This program is driven by Female Service Members for Female Service Members outside of the chain of command, allowing Female Service Members to make connection and open up
without fear of reprisal. The In Her Boots team consist of former Service Members that understand missions and military cultural – we are not paid actors or lectures. Our members consist of former Commanders and Sergeants Majors who clearly understand the issues and challenges and truly care about the success of our military. With over 200 years of combined experience, there is not much we have not navigated through. Face it --men and women are different, we are physically different and we communicate differently--putting on a uniform doesn't change that. No topic is off limits. BLUF: We all want to serve proudly and accomplish the mission. Sometimes, having a Female mentor available can make that journey a little bit easier. ENDSTATE: Motivated, Educated, Empowered and an Inspired Female Service Member accomplishing the mission.
Operating as usual

They continue to focus on ‘Reaction’ instead of ‘Prevention’ 😡. When are they going to let us help? Who better to consult than with the women who have been In Her Boots?

Woman Who Proudly Served In Army Repeatedly Harassed For Parking In 'Veterans Only' Spots: 'Vets Aren't Just Someone's Grandpa'
It's more common than you think: female veterans like Aryanna Hunter rolling into a veterans parking spot at the store.
So Thankful this book is fulfilling it’s purpose!
. Awesome Example of Integrity
Remember this Kenyan runner Abel Mutai who was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped, thinking he had completed the race. A Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening, started shouting at the Kenyan to continue running. Mutai didn't know Spanish and didn't understand. Realizing what was taking place, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win."
The journalist insisted "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win. The race was his." The journalist insisted, and again asked, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied, "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor in that medal?
What would my Mother think of that?"
Values are passed on from generation to generation.
What values are we teaching our children?
Let us not teach our kids the wrong ways and means to WIN.
Instead, let us pass on the beauty and humanity of a helping hand. Because honesty and ethics are WINNING!
Go In Courage
The most beautiful n classy gesture!!
