FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Frankfort Parks & Recreation Announces Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Frankfort, IN (February 18, 2026) – The City of Frankfort’s Parks & Recreation Department invites the community to attend the 6th annual Easter Egg Hunt at the TPA Park. The free family-friendly event is designed for all ages and will feature 10,000 hidden eggs and an Easter Bunny meet-and-greet.

Date: Sat., Mar. 28, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: TPA Park, 1 Adrian Marks Dr., Frankfort, IN 46041

“We encourage all families to gather their Easter baskets and hop over to the park for this spring celebration,” said Ryan Edgar, Frankfort Parks Superintendent. “We’re excited to receive a visit from the Easter Bunny and look forward to hosting food trucks and multiple kid-friendly activities.”

Children will be divided into egg hunt groups by age, ranging from 0-3, 4-6, and 7-9 years old. Music and a bounce house will entertain families before and after rounds of egg hunting, and lunch and treat options will be available from Bruno’s Pizza on Wheels, Kona Ice, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee.

“Our community annual egg hunt is one of the many ways to enjoy our parks and kick-off the warmer days ahead,” said Mayor Judy Sheets. “Families and friends can come together for the exciting Easter event and make wonderful memories.”

Donations of unopened bags of fun-size candy, small toys, stickers, etc. can be dropped off at the Parks Office within the TPA Park from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Businesses interested in sponsoring the event may call 765.659.3422.

Please mark your calendars we will be having our Country Breakfast on Saturday, March 28th, from 8 am to 10:30 am. There will be biscuits & Gravy and eggs along with pancakes and sausage! This event is being held by our FVFD Auxiliary!
