Clean Slate Day was a powerful success today, bringing together public defenders from Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano Counties to support individuals on their path to a fresh start. Beyond legal assistance, the event created meaningful community connections, linking participants with vital resources such as reentry support, employment services, and pathways to stability.

We’re proud to celebrate our incredible Board Chair and her lasting impact on Rubicon Programs 💙

Through her leadership, we’ve strengthened governance, built a diverse and engaged board, and expanded opportunities for funding and community involvement. She supported leadership transitions and championed innovation through technology and operational improvements.

Tatiana has raised nearly $170,000 from her network and brought two Board members from her network. She brings a deep commitment to equity and service and helps to ensure Rubicon remains a strong, stable, and transformative force.

It is a moment to honor the strength of Black communities and the contributions that continue to influence our collective present and future.

Throughout the month, teams across our sites and programs are hosting events and activities that uplift and celebrate Black History Month, creating space for learning, reflection, and connection.

These moments invite us to engage with history thoughtfully and to recognize the importance of honoring Black history not only this month, but year-round.
