Composting Facility in Bryan, TX. Twin Oaks Landfill, located 2690 ST HWY 30, Anderson, TX. It is 2 Miles past the Navasota River going towards Huntsville on Hwy 30. It is open M-F 7:00am-5:00 pm, Saturday 7:00am-1:00pm. Our tipping fee is $30.00 per ton. There is a $3.00 Minimum and we pro-rate after the minimum is met. No Hazardous wastes are accepted. asant Hill Rd. Bryan, TX 77807. Open M-F 8:00am-5:00pm Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm. Our tipping fee is $23.00 per ton. $10.00 minimum. Compost Facility only accepts clean, source-separated green waste products. Grass clippings, tree trimmings, and leaves are the materials accepted at our facility. The Rock Prairie Rd. Landfill- Closed.

Leadership Brazos Class of 2026 ended their “Criminal Justice Day” at the Twin Oaks Law Enforcement Training Facility.

Located on Twin Oaks Landfill property, both cities utilize the facility’s classrooms, gun ranges, and (brand new!) state-of-the-art obstacle course.

All vehicles must be properly covered and secured to enter the Twin Oaks Landfill facility. (Failure to do so will result in an additional $30 fee!)

This week, we met hundreds of other solid waste professionals in El Paso, Texas for the annual TxSWANA Conference.

On our first day, we had the opportunity to tour the Greater El Paso Landfill and BARCO Recycling - two very well-operated facilities!

The following day, we attended several technical sessions and even had the chance to moderate and participate in one!

The networking opportunities at TxSWANA were endless (and so much fun!). We loved seeing our old friends from Morrow Energy, and meeting so many new friends from across the state of Texas and beyond!

All in all, it was a very successful conference, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Post-HHW thoughts: You CAN dispose of DRY paint by tossing it in with your regular garbage or by bringing it to us at the Twin Oaks Landfill.

LIQUID paint is considered hazardous and needs to be disposed of properly.

If you don't want to wait until our next Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event in October, follow these steps to help DRY out your paint!

*Note: This method is for latex/acrylic based paint only. Oil-based paint is considered hazardous and requires special disposal.

- Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event (twice annually)
- Twin Oaks Renewables Gas Plant
- Groundwater monitoring (quarterly)
- Recycled leachate used to water one acre of Vetiver Grass on top of the closed Rock Prairie Road Landfill
- Not pictured: more than 150 acres of deed-restricted area dedicated to preserving the habitat of the federally endangered Spiranthes parksii (Navasota ladies' tresses) orchid
