This Memorial Day, all of us at Homeless Military Veterans Organization pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and love for this nation will never be forgotten.

We also remember the veterans who continue to carry the weight of service long after their uniforms are folded away especially those facing homelessness, hardship, and uncertainty. Every veteran deserves dignity, support, and the reminder that their service mattered.

Today, we stand united in gratitude, remembrance, and commitment. May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we continue working together to ensure that no veteran is left behind.

From our entire family to yours, we wish you a meaningful and reflective Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Today, our organization trusted MoverJet Logistics LLC to transport a donated trailer that was meant to help provide a veteran with a safe place to call home. What should have been an act of support and compassion turned into a deeply disappointing experience.

Instead of honoring their commitment, this company took advantage of a nonprofit effort focused on helping a veteran in need. We feel betrayed and frustrated by the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability shown throughout this situation. Resources that were intended to help someone rebuild their life were taken away from both our organization and the veteran we are trying to serve.

We believe businesses should operate with honesty and integrity, especially when working with charitable organizations and veterans. Unfortunately, our experience with Mover Jet Logistics LLC did not reflect those values.

We are sharing our experience publicly to warn others to proceed with caution when dealing with this company. Our mission will continue, and we remain committed to helping veterans in need despite this setback.

Today, on Armed Forces Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform with courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. From every branch of service, our Armed Forces have stood guard over the freedoms we hold dear, often at great personal cost.

At Homeless Military Veterans, our mission is especially close to the hearts of those who have served. Every day, we meet veterans who once defended our country and now face battles no one should fight alone homelessness, hardship, isolation, and uncertainty. Yet even in those difficult moments, we continue to witness the same resilience, strength, and honor that defined their military service.

Today is more than a celebration of military strength it is a reminder of our responsibility as a community and nation to stand beside those who once stood for us. No veteran should ever feel forgotten. No hero should ever be without a safe place to call home, support to rebuild, or hope for the future.

To all service members past and present: thank you for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your courage. We are forever grateful.

And to our veterans experiencing homelessness: you are seen, valued, and never alone. Your service matters. Your life matters. We remain committed to walking beside you, restoring dignity, providing support, and helping create new beginnings.

This Armed Forces Day, let us not only celebrate our military heroes let us also renew our promise to care for them when they return home.

With gratitude and respect,
Homeless Military Veterans

We’re proud to share that our Homeless Military Veterans organization has begun work on our next housing project building a home for a veteran right here in Spencer, Oklahoma, near 53rd & Post Road.

This isn’t just a construction project. It’s a chance to give someone who has served our country a safe, stable place to call home something every veteran deserves. A home like this can completely change a life, offering security, dignity, and a fresh start.

Right now, we’re in the early stages and need the community’s help to make this vision a reality. We are planning either a barndominium or a modular home, but we cannot move forward without support. Immediate needs include clearing the .24-acre lot and securing resources to begin building.

This is where you come in.
We’re looking for sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners who want to be part of something meaningful. Every contribution whether it’s time, resources, or financial support brings us one step closer to putting keys in the hands of a veteran who truly needs it.

Imagine the impact: a veteran going from uncertainty to stability, from struggle to hope. That transformation starts with people like you.

If you’ve ever wanted to give back, this is your opportunity to directly change a life. Let’s come together as a community and show our veterans they are not forgotten.

Back in December, right before Christmas, we were blessed with the opportunity to donate an RV to a veteran who was working hard to restart his life. It was a small way to give back to someone who has given so much.

Today, we received heartbreaking news he sent us a photo of a tree that has fallen on that very RV… the place he’s been calling home.

Now, we’re asking for help.

We’re looking to come together as a community once again to help this veteran get back on his feet by finding him another RV to call home. If you or someone you know has an RV available, or if you’re willing to help in any way, please reach out.

The damaged RV is located in the Austin, TX area.

Let’s show up for him the same way we did before. Every share, every lead, every bit of support matters more than you know. ❤️

Today we remember the lives forever changed on April 19, 1995, in the Oklahoma City bombing.

168 innocent people were taken far too soon including 19 beautiful children and countless families, friends, and first responders were left carrying a weight that words can never fully express. What was meant to be an ordinary day became a moment that would shape hearts, communities, and our nation forever.

We honor not only those who were lost, but the courage that rose from the ashes the neighbors who became heroes, the rescuers who worked without rest, and the families who have shown unimaginable strength in the years since.

May we never forget their names, their stories, and the love they left behind. And may we continue to choose compassion over hate, unity over division, and kindness in the face of darkness.

Today, we remember. Always, we honor.

We’re heartbroken to share that the amazing veteran who generously allowed us to use his RV transformed into a food truck to help feed fellow veterans has passed away. His kindness and service made a real difference in so many lives, and he will never be forgotten.

Right now, we’re in urgent need of another food truck so we can continue serving veterans and our unhoused friends across Oklahoma and Texas. Having a reliable mobile kitchen means we can reach more people, provide warm meals, and offer a sense of care and dignity to those who need it most. It’s more than just food it’s support, connection, and hope for veterans and families facing hard times.

If you’re able to help, support, or know someone who can, please reach out or visit www.homelessmilitaryveterans.org. Every bit of help makes a difference as we continue this mission in his honor.
