Today's expert, Mary Martinez, Executive Director, Forensic Interviewer and Dougherty Judicial Circuit's Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Response Team Protocol Chairman, shares a message about Georgia's Sexual Assault Kit Initiative and how survivors can track their forensic medical exam kit.

Georgia Senate Bill 304 (the "Pursuing Justice for R**e Victims Act"), signed into law in 2016, this law requires law enforcement to take posession of sexual assault kits from medical facilities within 96 hours and submit them to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation within 30 days.
