The baby formula shortage is reaching crisis levels. We need the FDA to step up and address this issue now.
With a four-month-old baby at home, I know the impact this issue is having on families nationwide. At a time of such division, I hope we can find it within ourselves to come to an agreement on a solution for BABY FORMULA.

I'm proud to know Dr. Samer Attar of Northwestern Medicine & Syrian American Medical Society- SAMS and even more proud of the incredible work he does to help our Illinois communities AND our international ones.
From to , he has risked his life to help those in dire need. He has gone into the gravest of situations, and volunteered in their hospitals--bearing witness to the devastation and horror of these barbaric attacks on civilians.
In both places, he's seen innocent people targeted--and we know that in both Syria and Ukraine, Putin has acted with impunity as he's killed thousands with his cruelty.

It’s a little jarring to see some of the conspiracy theories like those that QAnon spreads on social media, but that’s the reality we’re in. Technology has brought us great advances in life and how we connect, but it has also opened us up to a whole new host of dangers. And bad actors are taking full advantage of humanity’s vulnerability with malicious troll campaigns. It’s something we need to be vigilant about, recognize, and denounce. The FBI has labeled the QAnon network as a domestic terror threat for this very reason. And it’s our responsibility to make sure these conspiracy theories don’t take root and damage the foundation of our society.

I‘ll never know what it feels like to be a black man walking down the street, afraid of being targeted by a bad cop. This clickbait is everywhere and on social media, it can spread like wildfire. We all have a role to play in protecting our freedoms from being exploited by these bad actors and their cyber tricks. We have to rise above and unplug the rage machine that’s generated by trolls on the dark web. Take a deep breath and stay vigilant against these conspiracy theories.
