STORM DEBRIS UPDATES:
FEES WAIVED
Seminole County enacted an executive order today waiving all fees for residential drop off of vegetative debris and construction & demolition debris at the Seminole County Landfill. Proof of Seminole County residency is required. Fee waivers are not applicable to landscapers, junk haulers or other commercial entities. Fee waivers are not applicable at the Central Transfer Station.

🗑 If tropical storm force winds are sustained, Landfill closure is possible.
SERVICE INTERRUPTION
There are no scheduled interruptions of debris or regular trash, recycling, and yard waste collection. However, if winds reach tropical storm force in Seminole County, curbside collection will be suspended.
At present, regular haulers collecting trash, recycling and bagged yard waste are working Monday through Friday, 6:00a.m.-8:00p.m., debris haulers are collecting 6:00a.m.-6:00p.m. daily.
HELP EXPEDITE COLLECTION
Debris haulers cannot collect vegetative debris that has contaminants; do not mix vegetative debris with bagged debris or construction and demolition debris.
Small piles are also difficult for debris contractors to collect with large apparatus. Piles should be at least 3 cubic feet, approximately the size of a washing machine, or greater for debris haulers to collect.
