Today is the official start of Diaper Month at WeeCycle! Watch this message from our Executive Director, Morgan Seibel (Morgan Seibel) on why this year’s campaign matters more than ever.

This September, you can help us meet our goal to fill a truckload with diapers to support Colorado families. Here’s how you can get involved:

* Purchase diapers through our storefront. Your generous financial donation allows us to purchase diapers in bulk at a discounted rate — and helps us get closer to our goal.

* Host a Diaper Drive. We’ll set you up with a personalized online fundraising page that you can share with family and friends. You also have the option to collect diaper donations in person.

* Share WeeCycle’s mission. Invite your friends, family members or coworkers to learn about WeeCycle.

For families of babies and toddlers experiencing financial hardship, diapers are an expense that doesn’t let up. It costs about $100 per month to keep a single baby in clean diapers — and unlike other necessary expenses, like food or formula, diapers are not covered by WIC or SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).

That’s where WeeCycle comes in. We operate Colorado’s largest diaper bank and distribute millions of diapers each year to local families. This September, we’re asking our community to help us fill a truckload of diapers to support our efforts. You can get involved by purchasing diapers from WeeCycle’s storefront, or hosting a Diaper Drive or Diaper Packing Get Together. Learn more and get started at weecycle.org/diaper-month.

"Wee" want to your baby gear!

Bring your new and gently-used baby and toddler items to our Denver warehouse TOMORROW, August 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. Our team of experts will review your donations and find them a second life with a Colorado family in need.

Can't make it tomorrow? We host gear collection events every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. We also host one Saturday event per month.

More than 1 in 2 families struggle to afford diapers. But this September, you can help us keep babies clean, healthy and happy by hosting a Diaper Packing Get Together in support of Diaper Month! With a donation of $500 or more, we’ll deliver everything you need to assemble 120 diaper packages that we can distribute to local families.

Here’s how it works:
* Donate: Make your donation and work with the WeeCycle team to set a date for your event.
* Deliver: We’ll bring everything to you and stay onsite to facilitate the project, within a 25-mile radius of the WeeCycle Warehouse (5590 Joliet St, Denver).
* Assemble: You and your party guests will assemble the diaper packages, which we’ll take back to WeeCycle for distribution to support families experiencing diaper need.

This is a great way to come together with friends and family for a good cause! Outside the 25-mile radius? Email [email protected] — we may still be able to accommodate your event.

A huge thank you to the more than a dozen volunteers from Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP for lending their time at the WeeCycle warehouse!

This incredible team rolled up their sleeves to sort and package clothing and diapers — helping us get these essential items ready for Colorado families. We're grateful for their time, energy and continued support of our mission. It truly takes a village, and we're lucky to have partners like Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck in ours!
