I had the opportunity to deliver my final remarks as the District 9 City Councilor while filling in for Council President Andrea J. Campbell and presiding over the final Boston City Council meeting of the session.

It has been an honor to work along side my fellow councilors and a privilege to represent Allston-Brighton.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a healthy New Year!

Don't miss our FUNraiser on Thursday (11/21) at 5pm at The Stockyard in Brighton! The event is free to attend and all are welcome!

The past 32 years of my life have been rooted in public service to the city I love as a Youth Worker, Teacher and Assistant Coordinator at the Jackson Mann Community Center (BCYF), Executive Director of the Veronica B. Smith Senior Center and then to Boston City Hall. It has been a privilege to serve Allston-Brighton these last 12 years. This community has supported and embraced 5 generations of my family who lived, worked, raised families and retired in Allston-Brighton.

As my time on the City Council winds down, I’d like to come together as a neighborhood and thank you all for giving me the privilege to serve this wonderful community. Please join me Thursday, November 21st at 5pm at the Stockyard for a FUNraiser. This event will be complimentary and everyone is welcome to attend.

I am blessed to call Allston-Brighton home. As I begin this new chapter, I look forward to remaining active and exploring other ways to contribute to the community that has given so much to me and my family.

Look forward to seeing you all there!
