💜 These are not just statistics. They are children. And far too many of them are carrying something no child should ever have to carry.

Sexual assault affects kids in every community, every school, every neighborhood. It doesn't look one way and it doesn't happen in one type of home. That's why awareness matters. That's why conversations - even the uncomfortable ones - matter.

Talking openly about these numbers is not meant to frighten us. It's meant to move us. To protect children better, believe them faster, and make sure they know that what happened to them is never their fault. 💜
