Our Emerging Leaders Academy is a facilitated, eight-month peer-learning program designed to strengthen a new generation of community leaders.

Through monthly group sessions, curated readings, and one-on-one professional coaching, participants develop self-awareness, strategic relationships, leadership confidence, and a vision for their future as leaders.

The 2026-2027 cohort meets in person in Charlottesville once a month on Thursdays from 9 to 11 am, running September 2026 through April 2027.

This week, we're honored to be featured in C-VILLE Weekly in honor of National Nonprofit Day (August 17), recognizing the essential role nonprofits play across our communities—as builders, problem-solvers, employers, advocates, and trusted partners.

In the piece, we ask a few questions worth sitting with: What would it look like to fund nonprofit leadership and infrastructure as seriously as we fund programs?
